Terms of Service

Welcome to Heimech. These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Heimech Studios ("Heimech", "we", "us") covering your use of the Atreus editor, the Bifröst developer tunnel, the Elarion game, our websites, and related services (together, the "Services"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

1.Your account

You need a Heimech account to use most of the Services. You're responsible for your account, for keeping your credentials secure, and for everything that happens under it. Provide accurate information and keep it current. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Services.

2.Subscriptions, billing & refunds

• Paid plans (such as Atreus and Bifröst Pro) are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout.
• Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial periods.
• We may change prices or plans on reasonable notice; changes take effect at your next renewal.

3.Your content

You keep ownership of the game content, projects, code, and assets you create with the Services ("Your Content"). You grant Heimech a limited license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Services for you. You're responsible for Your Content and for having the rights to any material you upload or generate. AI-generated output you create through the Services is yours to use, subject to the terms of the underlying model providers.

4.Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Break the law, infringe others' rights, or upload malicious or infringing content.
• Abuse, overload, probe, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Services or other users' data.
• Resell, sublicense, or use the Services to build a competing product, except as expressly allowed.
• Use the Bifröst tunnel to proxy unlawful traffic or evade security controls.

5.Third-party services

The Services integrate independent third parties — including Stripe (payments), Google (sign-in), email delivery, art-generation providers, and AI/model providers you connect. Your use of those services is governed by their terms, and we aren't responsible for them.

6.Intellectual property

The Services, including the Atreus editor, Bifröst, Elarion, and the Heimech brand, are owned by Heimech Studios and protected by law. These Terms don't grant you any rights in our trademarks or software except the right to use the Services as intended.

7.Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Heimech is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

8.Termination

You can stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Services. On termination, your right to use the Services ends; provisions that by their nature should survive will survive.

9.Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll take reasonable steps to let you know. Continuing to use the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
